Our Knit For Charity Campaign

Our goal: 210 knits by 15 December 2021
Let's put our needles to a good cause and knit (or crochet) to help Po Leung Kuk. They are one of the largest charitable organisations in Hong Kong, providing services in social welfare, education, recreation, culture and integrated healthcare.

Thanks to Charitable Choice, we are in direct contact with them and they are in need of 210 items this winter. The donated knits will be distributed to 4 of their centres located in Kwai Chung, Tuen Mun, Yau Ma Tei and Tin Shui Wai. We will personally supervise all the distribution to make sure your lovely creations reach the people that need it the most.

What to donate
Our goal is to collect 210 items, or as close to this number as we can. We welcome knitted or crocheted scarves and snoods for children and adults, as well as baby blankets. There are no other special requirements: you can use the pattern, colour, yarn and size of your choice.

The donated items will have to be clean and in excellent condition.
​
Feel free to attach your name, Instagram handle and any other contact information of your choice to your donated item(s) when dropping them off. We will share pictures, and this will make us easier to tag you if you wish to follow the journey of your knits.

Makers outside Hong Kong are most welcome to join the campaign, but will have to courier the donated items to the drop-off location at their own cost.
